A noted veteran litigator and former AP&S chair, John Bomster focuses on analyzing and planning complex state and federal litigation from the New Hampshire office.  He also serves as a Rhode Island court-appointed arbitrator, and has supervised and trained numerous lawyers over his 35-year-plus association with AP&S.

He helps wide-ranging clients successfully settle disputes in civil-rights, commercial, professional-liability, and insurance-coverage matters, and has handled legislative reapportionment and condemnation cases. John also claims extensive experience as lead counsel in class-action and shareholder-derivative suits, and has contributed to important publications on class-action matters.

Since assuming Of Counsel status, he’s acted as a voluntary strategic litigation advisor to New Hampshire Legal Services on complex federal court class-action litigation involving Medicaid issues, helping craft successful resolutions for thousands of indigent New Hampshire children and seniors.
