Single-minded and focused, Geoffrey Millsom's uncompromising devotion to his clients’ interests and his legal acumen have led to notable victories at trial and on appeal across the country in high-stakes commercial matters.

Geoff is a defense-oriented trial lawyer who specializes in business disputes.  His work covers a broad spectrum of matters that include all types of commercial litigation, including contract disputes, defense of employment and discrimination claims, products liability law / toxic tort law, securities, insurance and intellectual property.  He regularly handles matters concerning trade secrets, unfair competition and non-compete agreements.  He also defends employers against claims of wrongful termination and discrimination and litigates construction disputes on behalf of sureties, owners and general contractors.

His active and ongoing matters include the defense of several employment discrimination and wrongful termination claims, a dispute between an automobile dealer and manufacturer regarding the sale of vehicle service contracts over a website, the defense of a large commercial bank in several customer complaints involving alleged violations of the Uniform Commercial Code and regulations of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and several toxic mold cases.

Prior to joining Adler Pollock & Sheehan, Geoff was associated with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Donovan, Leisure, Newton & Irvine in New York, and clerked for the law firm of Allen Allen & Hemsley in Sydney, Australia.  Prior to law school, he worked in the North American Commercial Lending Department of the Industrial Bank of Japan.
