In selecting attorneys to join the firm, AP&S seeks those who demonstrate superior client service capabilities, who have the highest character, and who exhibit the ability to succeed professionally and personally. Many of the firm’s shareholders came to the firm as lateral associates or counsel. The firm encourages practicing lawyers with strong credentials and an interest in this firm to forward their resumes and a cover letter to the Recruiting Coordinator for consideration. Resumes may also be submitted by email to the firm’s recruiting contacts.

For entry level associates, AP&S strives to hire exceptional law students, preferably in the top 10-15% of their class with law review, moot court or other similar experiences. The firm also makes selective offers to judicial clerks. There is an associate liaison in each office who ensures that each associate is assigned a mentor who will monitor the associate’s work load and help guide their integration into the firm and provide guidance for their professional development.

Professional Support Staff

Without a strong team of legal professionals to provide administrative support, AP&S could not be successful. We are always looking for good talent and encourage paralegals, legal secretaries and other administrative support professionals with previous law firm experience to join us. If you are interested in being a part of the AP&S family, please submit your resume to the firm’s recruiting contacts.
