Recognizing that today’s complex legal needs often transcend geographic boundaries, Adler Pollock & Sheehan offers our clients access to top-quality counsel across the United States and abroad.  AP&S has the distinction of having been selected to be a member of three prominent law firm networks:  Lex Mundi, State Capital Group and the USLAW Network.  Membership is by invitation only to select firms that have demonstrated the highest quality service and industry leadership.  These strategic relationships allow AP&S to call upon resources all over the world to serve our clients to the utmost expectation.  Member firms of these three law firm networks practice independently and are not in a relationship for the joint practice of law.

By uniting their skills, expertise and influence, our member firms help leading and growing companies in every industry navigate a complex and ever-changing legal landscape.  With local and regional experts across the globe, our independent member firms capitalize on the strength and effectiveness of our network to help their clients solve today’s toughest business challenges.

The USLAW Network is a national organization comprised of more than 60 independent firms in 45 states with over 3,500 attorneys.  An alliance with the Trans-European Law Firm Alliance gives even greater access to 23 European law firms representing 600 lawyers.  Law firms selected for membership are AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and possess broad commercial legal capabilities, including substantial litigation and trial experience.

• Making an elite list of 600 firms nationwide, AP&S was recognized by corporate counsel from America's largest companies for high quality and cost effectiveness in a survey conducted by American Lawyer Magazine. AP&S and its attorneys have been reviewed by Martindale-Hubbell, the worldwide authoritative resource about the legal profession and facilitator of a peer review process that rates lawyers. Ratings reflect the confidential opinions of members of the Bar and the Judiciary. Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings fall into two categories -- legal ability and general ethical standards. This unbiased review is a reflection of having achieved the highest levels of professional skill and integrity. AP&S is an AV rated firm.

Chambers & Partners USA Directory of Business Lawyers

Adler Pollock & Sheehan has been rated a leading Rhode Island law firm by the prestigious publication Chambers USA:  America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.  Among the practice areas that were ranked in premier positions in the nationwide directory were Commercial Litigation and Real Estate Law.  The Corporate/Commercial and Labor and Employment practices have also been top ranked in the state of Rhode Island.   

Selected by clients and peers as “Leaders in their Field,” several AP&S attorneys are included in the most recent edition as well. Since 1986, AP&S has been listed continuously in Best’s Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys, the premier reference tool for locating qualified insurance attorneys.  Only firms that are recommended by their insurance industry clients are listed, and all listees are thoroughly examined by A.M. Best’s staff to ensure that their reputation and commitment to the insurance industry comply with the standards of excellence established by the A.M. Best Company
