Gregory D. Chafee joins the Corporate Department

AP&S is pleased to welcome Gregory D. Chafee to the Corporate Group. 

A native of Providence, Mr. Chafee is returning to his home state and brings over 20 years of general corporate and commercial law experience to the firm.  He previously served as Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of DS Waters, producer of Belmont Springs® bottled water, and also as Associate General Counsel of Georgia-Pacific. 

Mr. Chafee counsels public and privately-held firms, limited liability companies, partnerships and domestic and international joint ventures and strategic alliances.  His experience involves a broad range of business related matters, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and corporate governance.  He also advises on labor and employment issues, regulatory compliance, negotiation and drafting of supply, sales and distribution arrangements, property transfers, leases, licensing and intellectual property agreements and other commercial projects. 

A magna cum laude graduate of Brown  University, Mr. Chafee earned his law degree from Boston University School of Law.
