Keeping with its tradition of supporting Rhode Island’s only law school and in honor of Roger Williams University School of Law’s 20th Anniversary, Adler Pollock & Sheehan P.C. (“AP&S”) has made a gift of $15,000.00 to support the law school.
AP&S presently employs eight RWU Law graduates as attorneys, many of whom remain active with the University in various ways, including involvement in the RWU Law Alumni Association. Firm lawyer Nicole J. Benjamin ’06, serves as Co-Chair of the RWU Law 20th Anniversary Honorary Committee and previously served two terms as President of the Law Alumni Association Board of Directors (2010-2011 and 2011-2012). Firm lawyer Robert J. Humm ’08, is currently serving his second term as President of the Law Alumni Association Board of Directors and firm lawyer Jamie J. Bachant ’12, is also a member of the board. Firm lawyers Joseph R. Marion III ’98, Rory Z. Fazendeiro ’00, Katy A. Hynes ’02, Kyle M. Zambarano ’04 and John D. Russell ’05 also maintain strong ties to the law school.
On Saturday, September 28th, AP&S hosted a reception at its Providence office in conjunction with the WaterFire event sponsored by Roger Williams University and presented its gift to the University. Commenting on two decades of the firm’s support of RWU Law, AP&S Managing Partner Robert P. Brooks said, “Adler Pollock & Sheehan has supported the law school beginning with its founding and are happy to continue our support in this its 20th Anniversary year.” Brooks added, “Our firm has benefited from the high caliber of graduates produced by the law school and we are honored to count among our attorneys many high caliber RWU law grads that have joined our firm over the years.”
