Michael R. Brown joins our Boston office as counsel in the firm’s Litigation Group and Rich-Henry Schabowsky, Ph.D. joins our Intellectual Property Group as an associate.
Michael R. Brown concentrates his practice representing corporate clients in business disputes, professional liability, general liability, premises liability, and mass-tort defense, as well as litigation management services. Michael also represents insurance providers in coverage matters.
Michael’s litigation practice involves defending companies against negligence claims in state and federal courts. He also defends lawyers, accountants, brokers, architects, and other professionals against malpractice claims. His deep experience in these areas allows him to identify the best result for his clients and achieve their goals efficiently through either litigation or negotiation.
Michael earned his J.D. from Suffolk University of Law and his B.A. from College of Holy Cross.
Rich-Henry Schabowsky, Ph.D. practices as a registered patent attorney before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. An extensive background in biomedical science and biotechnology, including a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology, enables him to bring a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to protecting clients’ intellectual property.
Rich-Henry handles all aspects of patent prosecution and counseling on behalf of clients and has experience in patent preparation, patent prosecution, post-grant proceedings, and development/management of patent portfolios in the U.S. and abroad.
Rich-Henry earned his J.D., cum laude, from Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, his Ph.D. and M.S. from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and his B.A. from University of Virginia.
