AP&S is inspired by the communities where we live and work, and we are committed to giving back through volunteerism. With a long history of leadership in local, regional and national organizations, we pursue a wide range of interests in community and board involvement, and the support of various professional, charitable and civic organizations.

Ensuring Access to Justice for All

We are committed to ensuring equal justice under the law regardless of financial resources. The firm supports Rhode Island Legal Services and actively provides pro bono legal services through local bar associations such as the Rhode Island Bar Association and Foundation, the Women’s Bar Association of Boston, the New Hampshire Bar Association, as well as other nonprofit groups. Several of our shareholders have served as presidents and in other leadership positions for these organizations. Each year, we provide hundreds of hours of free legal services as members of the Volunteer Lawyers Program.
