Representative Matters
- In a $10 million sale of a radiology practice to a large healthcare corporation, we structured a novel agreement that maximized the benefit for the seller’s shareholders while complying with regulatory issues relating to anti-kickback laws.
- For a Rhode Island ophthalmology group, we arranged the $7 million sale and leaseback of its medical office building, allowing the physicians to take their equity out of the building while still retaining use of it.
- Our Health Care team crafted the complex acquisition of a number of non-profit drug treatment and counseling entities to help our corporate healthcare client expand its geographic base. Our client was able to gain control of the entities while isolating itself from their liabilities.
- After months of contested hearings, we obtained R.I. Department of Health approval for a local community hospital to provide cardiac care services.
