TECHNOLOGY AP&S has made technology a high priority in order to maximize personal and corporate efficiency, improve quality, maintain communications, and to bring value to the client. Bringing together ideas from in and outside the legal world such as engineering, the sciences, finance, mathematics, marketing, manufacturing and medicine, disciplines are brought into the firm to enhance communications, improve operations, increase efficiency and provide additional support to our clients and their matters.
In our ongoing effort to provide our clients with the best client service, the firm utilizes a variety of communication tools, including integrated voice, voicemail and email as well as wireless handheld devices that incorporate cell phone and wireless email. Consequently, attorneys can work from almost anywhere in the world so that they may be as highly responsive to our client's needs as possible.
A very secure and highly integrated document management system allows for document control from any application and from any point in and out of our network. Clients may rest assured that their documents are well protected, as a complete backup of all programs is maintained offsite as part of an overall disaster recovery program. A newly-installed time and billing operation provides an efficient time entry system for the firm and a flexible billing system for the client.
In the litigation area, AP&S utilizes a variety of programs for case
management, calendaring, presentation, database and trial support. There is no more rigorous test of technology than the courtroom, and this is an area in which AP&S has vast experience and success. From the most
complicated of all electronic courtroom technology to the simplest
demonstrative board, we have consistently met all the challenges.
In its new Providence offices, state-of-the-art technology provides data
communications designed with speed, efficiency, and security in mind. The firm has numerous technology-enabled conference rooms, allowing for presentations on plasma screens from computers, video projectors, and other video sources, as well as built-in video and audio conferencing.
AP&S recognizes the value technology brings to the practice of law, and we are committed to continuing to develop creative and cost-effective ways in order to provide our clients with the highest level of services possible. |
