Victoria Almeida received the “Wild Women” award from the Women’s Resource Center of Bristol County. The annual “Wild Women” Luncheon was held on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at the Rhode Island Country Club.
A “Wild Women” is defined as a woman who trusts her intuition and her heart, who is connected with her instinctual nature. A woman who can lean on her sisters or can provide a helping hand when needed.
Honorees are nominated for this distinction for their accomplishments, dedication, uniqueness, character, selflessness, and the role they play in making the world a better place.
Women’s Resource Center (WRC), serving Newport and Bristol Counties, was founded in 1977 to provide comprehensive domestic violence intervention and prevention services that educate, advocate, and shelter any individual in need of assistance. Each year we help women, children, families, men and the elderly to obtain the services they need to secure their physical, mental, emotional and financial safety from domestic abuse.
