Bank of America, N.A.<\/em>, No. 2013-184-Appeal<\/a>, recognized for the first time the \u201cReply Letter Doctrine,\u201d one of the means by which evidence may be authenticated under the Rhode Island Rules of Evidence. <em>Id<\/em>. at 10 n.12 (citing Advisory Committee Notes to R.I. R. Evid. 901(b)(4)).<\/p>\n<p>The Reply Letter Doctrine allows \u201c\u2018a letter [to] be authenticated by content and circumstances indicating it was in reply to a duly authenticated one.\u2019\u201d <em>Id<\/em>. (quoting Advisory Committee Notes to Rule 901(b)(4) of the Federal Rules of Evidence)).
