Bob Brooks received the President’s Award at the RI Hospitality Association’s Stars of the Industry event on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Twin River Event Center.
The RI Hospitality Association’s 2019 “Stars of the Industry” awards dinner and ceremony was created more than 30 years ago. It is hosted by the RI Hospitality Association and RI Hospitality Education Foundation to recognize shining stars in the restaurant and hospitality industries.
Brooks, who has been representing the RI Hospitality Association for over 15 years, said, “I am honored to have received the President’s Award. Dale Venturini and the RI Hospitality Association is a tireless advocate for the many businesses and employees who work in the hospitality industry and I am humbled that Dale and the association has allowed me to provide legal advice and assistance to this fine organization and its members.”
Approximately 900 industry professionals attend this event from across all sectors of the trade. Recipients are nominated by their leaders, coworkers and customers. Awards are given in more than 20 categories. Winners are voted on by the public and elected officials of the board.
