Nicole Benjamin Receives RWU Law Alumni Service Award

The Law Alumni Association of Roger Williams University School of Law has established the Alumni Service Award which was presented to Nicole Benjamin at their annual holiday reception on Thursday, December 1, 2016.

This award recognizes a graduate for outstanding service to Roger Williams University School of Law.  His or her voluntary contributions, either directly or through activity in the Law Alumni Association, shall have been over and beyond the normal call of duty.

“For me, giving back to RWU Law, its students and its alumni is an expression of my gratitude for all that the school and its alumni have done for me.  RWU Law and its alumni have had a profound impact on my life and career.  I look forward to continuing to pay that forward with the hope that I will impact the lives of RWU Law students and alumni as others have done for me,” said Benjamin.

A graduate of the law school in ’06, Nicole currently serves on the law school’s Board of Directors.  Her other roles over years included: President, Law Alumni Association (2010-2012); Vice President, Law Alumni Association (2008-2010); Co-chair, 20th Anniversary Honorary Committee (2013-2014).

Nicole also has served as a volunteer judge for various Roger Williams University student competitions, including moot court and mock trial competitions.
