Overview
Alex is a member of the firm’s Banking and Financial Services, Business & Corporate and Real Estate Groups. She represents lending institutions (including local, regional, and national banks and credit unions) and borrowers in a variety of complex financial transactions, including commercial real estate, asset based, commercial and industrial, construction, mezzanine, bridge, tax-exempt, and hard-money finance transactions. Projects financed include acquisitions, construction, and refinance of hotels, apartment buildings, shopping centers, senior living facilities, and manufacturing and industrial facilities, which frequently involve numerous funding sources. Alex is experienced in drafting and negotiating participation agreements and intercreditor agreements among lenders and lienholders. She also frequently serves as local counsel to lenders and borrowers on national and international financing transactions.
