The Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence established The Robert P. Brooks Scholarship Endowment for the support of memberships to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence for Providence youth in need regardless of age, gender and Providence Club location.
Bob has served on the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club since 1996, serving as Board President from 2003-2012. Bob attended the Boys & Girls Club of Olneyville as a young boy, and says “The Club helped me achieve my dreams.”
The ceremony took place at the 148th Annual Meeting on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Providence Art Club.
