John Tarantino has been selected as a 2014 recipient of the Justice Assistance’s Neil J. Houston, Jr. Memorial Award. This prestigious award was established to recognize individuals who have demonstrated dedication, service and citizen contributions to the criminal justice profession and public interest. The presentation took place on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Providence Marriott. Other award recipients included William C. Clifton, Associate Judge, RI District Court, Elwood M. Johnson, Jr., Chief of Police, Richmond, RI, O.Rogeriee Thompson, Judge, 1st Circuit Court of Appeals and Paul A. Kocon, Special Projects Coordinator, RI Department of Corrections.
