Overview

Amanda is a member of the firm’s litigation group. Her practice includes an array of civil litigation matters, including employment and real property disputes.

Before joining Adler Pollock & Sheehan, Amanda served a term as a law clerk to the Honorable Lara E. Montecalvo of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and a term as a law clerk to the Honorable John J. McConnell, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island.

Prior to her clerkships, Amanda graduated magna cum laude from Roger Williams University School of Law, where she was a member of the Honors Program and served as Executive Notes and Comments Editor of the Roger Williams University Law Review. In 2023, Roger Williams University Law Review published Amanda’s Comment, Dream Big and Lay the Groundwork: How Rhode Island Can Improve Access to Civil Justice for Self- Represented Litigants, which addressed methods for improving access to civil justice for self-represented litigants in Rhode Island.

Additionally, during law school,  Amanda gained invaluable experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Mary S. McElroy in the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, a judicial extern for the Honorable O. Rogeriee Thompson in the Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and a Rule 9 Student Attorney at Rhode Island Center for Justice.

Amanda also graduated magna cum laude from Rhode Island College, where she received her B.A. in Justice Studies.
