AP&S is proud to have served as the exclusive sponsor the American Mock Trial Association’s (“AMTA”) Fifth Annual Providence Regional Tournament, hosted by Brown University on February 17-18, 2024. With nearly 300 undergraduate students representing 17 schools across the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions, the tournament was the largest AMTA regional competition in the United States. Assessing this next generation of lawyers was an exceptional judging pool comprised of Rhode Island Superior Court justices and attorneys within the Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut Bar Associations – including many members of AP&S’s litigation team.
AP&S Counsel Michael D’Ippolito III serves on the Executive Committee of the AMTA Board of Directors, which provides the exclusive mock trial competitive forum for over 7,000 undergraduate students representing over 400 schools across the United States and Canada. In addition, Michael serves as the Head Coach of Brown University’s mock trial program. Under Michael’s continued leadership, Brown Mock Trial aims to build on last season’s sixth-place nationals finish.
