In a significant act of community support, Jonathan M. Sachs and Stephen T. Connolly provided legal counsel to St. Mary’s Center for Women & Children in connection with securing a line of credit. This partnership was made possible through a collaboration with Eastern Bank and was carried out on a pro-bono basis.
AP&S recognizes the critical role that financial stability plays in the success of nonprofit organizations. By facilitating this line of credit, we aim to provide St. Mary’s Center for Women & Children with the financial flexibility needed to expand their services as the organization embarks on a transformative capital project that will double the number of families served.
Eastern Bank has been a steadfast supporter of community initiatives, and their partnership was instrumental in securing this financial arrangement. Their commitment to social responsibility aligns with our firm’s values, making them an ideal ally in this endeavor.
This pro-bono effort underscores our firm’s dedication to giving back to the community and supporting organizations that make a difference. We are honored to contribute to the ongoing success of St. Mary’s Center for Women & Children and look forward to seeing the positive outcomes of this collaboration.
About St. Mary’s Center for Women & Children
St. Mary’s Center for Women and Children, a multi-service organization supporting women and families, believes shelter is not enough to erase the devastation of cyclical poverty and homelessness. Grounded in social justice, they empower families to achieve emotional stability and economic independence through life skills, behavioral health and family medicine, education and workforce development, and permanent housing.
Each year, St. Mary’s Center works collaboratively with over 500 women, children, and families experiencing deep poverty and homelessness, through multiple adult family shelter programs, a pregnant and parenting teen/young mothers’ program, a transitional housing program, and wrap-around supportive services.
