On September 23, Adler Pollock & Sheehan achieved a defense verdict on all counts in an employment action in the Federal District Court of Rhode Island. Specifically, Leslie Parker and Todd White represented the employer, a large financial institution, in a lawsuit filed against it by a former employee who alleged a hostile work environment, quid pro quo harassment, and retaliation by her supervisor under both state and federal law after her termination in 2017. The bank vigorously denied the allegations. After an 8-day trial before the Honorable Mary S. McElroy, the jury rendered a verdict in favor of the employer on all counts.
