Litigation Associate – Providence, RI

We are currently seeking Associate candidates with two to five years of experience to work in our Litigation Department. This position is based in our Providence, Rhode Island office.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work professionally with clients and other AP&S team members.
- Understanding of federal and state court rules and practice.
- Experience researching and drafting memoranda and briefs.
- Experience handling discovery responses, requests, and disputes in complex matters.
- Ability to research and learn new substantive legal topics.
- Superior time management and organization skills.
AP&S’s Litigation Department has a sophisticated and diverse practice, including complex matters related to commercial disputes products liability, intellectual property, products liability, and health care. Litigation Associates work collaboratively on a wide variety of cases with attorneys at all levels to solve problems and achieve superior results. Requirements:
- Juris doctor and must be and remain licensed and in good standing to practice law in Rhode Island.
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Connecticut and/or Massachusetts.
