Victoria M. Almeida has been elected as Secretary of the Rhode Island Bar Association. She was inducted at the Bar Association’s Annual Meeting held on Thursday, June 22 at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
An experienced trial attorney, Miss Almeida most recently served on the Executive Committee of the Bar Association as Treasurer, and she is slated to serve as its President in 2009-2010. She is chairperson of its Strategic Planning Committee, is a member of its House of Delegates, and had served as chairperson of the Committee on Ethics and Professionalism and its Public Relations Committee
