Overview

Andrew is an Associate in the Boston office and a member of the litigation team.  He has extensive experience representing clients through all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal.  Andrew has represented clients across a wide variety of industries including food service franchising, construction, property management, and fitness franchising.  Andrew has defended suits ranging from commercial disputes involving breach of contract to a variety of negligence claims including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and professional liability.

Prior to joining Adler Pollock & Sheehan, Andrew served as in-house counsel in the health care industry and the renewable energy industry.  His responsibilities as in-house counsel included dispute resolution and litigation management, contract management, risk management, and compliance.  Specifically, Andrew negotiated and advised internal stakeholders on commercial transactions and drafted definitive agreements ranging in value from six to nine figures.  Further, he advised his internal clients on HR policies and employment related matters, data privacy and cyber security policy implementation, and various other risk management and compliance related matters.

A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, Andrew resides in Westford, MA with his wife and son, and volunteers his time supporting the Westford Academy boys’ basketball program.

Representative Matters
  • Obtained defense judgment on behalf of food service franchisor in a $1.2 million breach of contract and breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing claim.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of food service franchisor in sexual harassment suit.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of property management company in $10 million negligent security claim.
  • Recovered $1.7 million breach of contract debt on behalf of a renewable energy company. 
  • Negotiated, drafted and executed a nine-figure supply contract on behalf of a renewable energy company.
