The International Trademark Association has appointed Dan Holmander to its Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and Cheryl Clarkin to its Emerging Issues Committee.
Dan’s role on the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committee will be to promote ADR so brand owners and other stakeholders can resolve trademark and complementary IP disputes outside of court at any stage and in any jurisdiction.
Cheryl’s role on the Emerging Issues Committee will be to identify, develop, and advocate the Association’s policy regarding important trends and emerging issues related to trademarks not covered by other “issue” committees.
Appointments to these committees are effective beginning January 1, 2024, and will conclude on December 31, 2025.
