Perceptions of Women in the Claims and Litigation Arena: Are We Debunking the Myths or Feeding Into the Sexism?
Is the effect of gender on the plaintiff, plaintiff’s attorney, and juror still an obstacle in today’s claims handling and litigation arena? This presentation will focus on the successful strategies of women in debunking the standard myths from receipt of the claim to the trial arena. Does gender continue to be a pervading factor or have we overcome the stereotypes?
