Kyle J. Lynch has been elected to the board of directors for Grow Smart RI for a three (3) year term.
Grow Smart RI is an award-winning leader in economic development, neighborhood revitalization and environmental stewardship. It was founded in 1997 as a way to bring citizens, business leaders and elected officials together to address the issue of “sprawl” in Rhode Island. Since then, it has developed an expansive coalition of leaders in business, policy and government, education, historic preservation, affordable housing, real estate, municipal planning and environmental sustainability.
Grow Smart RI is committed to strengthening the economy, supporting access to good affordable housing and efficient transportation, reducing health and economic disparities and safeguarding natural resources in Rhode Island’s 39 cities and towns through research and analysis, policy development, thought leadership and advocacy, collaboration and the promotion of public awareness.
Grow Smart RI has won numerous awards in recognition of its work, including an Environmental Merit Award from EPA’s Region 1 Office and a Preservation Advocacy Award from Preservation Rhode Island.
