Geoffrey Millsom has been elected to the Greater Providence Advisory Board of The Salvation Army of Rhode Island. The Salvation Army is the oldest and largest human service organization of its kind in the world, and by far the largest in this country, serving more than 20,000,000 people each year. The Salvation Army is unique in that it is spiritual in motivation, social in service, religious in mission, and humanitarian in action. Few organizations are more dependent upon their advisory board for support and leadership than The Salvation Army. The Greater Providence Advisory Board consists of 26 individuals.
