Nicole J. Benjamin was elected to serve as Vice-Chair of the Roger Williams University School of Law Board of Directors for the 2020-2021 academic year. Nicole is the first alumnus of RWU School of Law to serve as an officer of the board.
The board recently appointed 11 new members and will remain chaired by Judge William E. Smith of the U.S. District Court, District of Rhode Island. Magistrate Judge Patricia A. Sullivan will serve as treasurer and Howard Merten, Esq. of Partridge Snow & Hahn LLP will serve as secretary.
Nicole has been an active member of the law school since graduating magna cum laude in 2006, serving on the board since 2014. She served as Co-Chair of the law school’s 20th Anniversary Honorary Committee and as President of the Law Alumni Board of Directors from 2010-2012.
