The Franciscan Friars of Holy Name Province are pleased to award the Francis Medal to attorney Victoria M. Almeida, shareholder at Adler Pollock & Sheehan P.C., for her uncommon contribution to the advancement of the values and ideals of St. Francis of Assisi. “Her generosity and sacrifice has enriched our human family and given concrete expression to the spirit of St. Francis.” The medal will be awarded on Sunday, May 1, 2011, at 10:00am at the Church of St. Mary in Providence. A reception will follow immediately after mass in the Paul Cuffee School Hall. All are welcome to attend. The Francis Medal is the highest honor given by the Franciscans.
